The Green Bay Packers were able to win their 12th-straight home opener on Sunday versus the Indianapolis Colts in what might have been the most unique gameplan in the Matt LaFleur era. With starting quarterback Jordan Love out with a knee injury and backup quarterback Malik Willis only arriving on the team in late August around cutdowns, the message was simple: Run the ball.
While Willis was able to crack the 100-yard passing mark, not a given considering he failed to do so in his first three career starts with the Tennessee Titans, the offense was always going to go the way of their ground game.
