Reading an article by Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, there was an interesting note on Jimmy Graham. According to Breer, if the Green Bay Packers are to release Jimmy Graham, it’ll likely be due to “their confidence in landing a top-shelf replacement”.
OK, so they’re willing to cut Graham if they believe they can land one of the top available tight ends? Austin Hooper would be a good example. But what if they don’t think they have a chance? Would they be open to keeping Graham for the final year of his contract?
