Well that was certainly something, wasn’t it? The Green Bay Packers’ offense generated zero points in their pre-season matchup with the Denver Broncos. That’s right! ZERO! There are some extenuating circumstances here. The Packers backups, third, and fourth stringers played the entire game while Denver played their starters a good number of snaps, and were generally an entire depth chart line ahead of the Packers for most of the game. However, despite this, the Packers' offense looked really poor, and the quarterback play in particular was a problem.
This isn’t a new issue. The Packers' backup quarterback spot has been a known problem since Aaron Rodgers was sent to New York and Jordan Love stepped into the starting role.
