The NFL Rookie Premier is an event where the league debuts rookies in their full uniforms for the first time. The event leads to several products being created, including rookie football cards, if that’s your thing.
According to the NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the NFLPA invited 40 players to the event this year. All but two (Indianapolis Colts pass-rusher Laiatu Latu and Minnesota Vikings pass-rusher Dallas Turner) players invited in this cycle came from the offensive side of the ball.
While the Packers didn’t draft a pass-catcher in the 2024 draft class, they did draft two backs — running back MarShawn Lloyd and quarterback Michael Pratt.
