With their second pick in the second round of the NFL draft, the Green Bay Packers selected safety Javon Bullard out of the University of Georgia. With the departures of Darnell Savage, Rudy Ford, and Jonathan Owens, Bullard is most likely going to get the nod at free safety as a rookie alongside newly acquired veteran safety Xavier McKinney in a revamped Green Bay defensive scheme.
Bullard started 22 games for the Georgia Bulldogs in the secondary, earned 2023 AP All-Second Team SEC, was the defensive MVP of the 2022 Peach Bowl and was the defensive MVP of the 2022 CFP National Championship.
