SÃO PAULO – Brayden Narveson was on his way to making the Green Bay Packers forget they had a rookie kicker who wouldn’t make extra points and field goals when they counted.
In his first game after being claimed on waivers from the Tennessee Titans last week, Narveson connected on his first four kicks – field goals of 31 and 23 yards and two extra points.
So, when he lined up for a 43-yarder that would put the Packers within 2 points of the Philadelphia Eagles heading into the fourth quarter, he hit a ball that tailed to the right and bounced off the outside of the right upright.
