Packers rookie Josh Jackson gets first pick-six in preseason game #2

One interception return for a touchdown wasn’t enough for Mike Pettine’s defense on Thursday night. After Tramon Williams took the first play of the game between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers to the house for a pick-six, one of his rookie proteges got into the act two quarters later.

Josh Jackson, the cornerback with the best ball skills in the 2018 NFL Draft, fell to the Green Bay Packers in the second round, and Brian Gutekunst made him the 45th overall pick of the draft. Jackson played primarily in zone coverage for the Iowa Hawkeyes, but has been drawing praise for his ability to play multiple positions and to learn man coverage concepts in training camp.
