In a game dominated by a Packer offense led by newly acquired Malik Willis, the Packers used a varied run game to pound the Colts, surviving a late comeback attempt by Indianapolis. Matt LaFleur dialed up a mixed bag of running plays that kept the Colts puzzled from the start.
Green Bay rolled up 237 rushing yards in the first half. Josh Jacobs had 128 of them but also had a crucial fumble just before crossing the goal line, taking a sure touchdown off the scoreboard.
Willis, Reed, Melton, Wilson, and Rookie Marshawn Lloyd all contributed with good runs, keeping Indy off balance.
