The Green Bay Packers returned wide receiver Bo Melton for the 2025 season with the exclusive rights tender, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Media.
The move was expected. An exclusive rights free agent -- a player with an expiring contract and two or fewer accrued seasons -- cannot negotiate with other teams, and the one-year, cost-effective tender immediately retains the player.
Melton will make $1,030,00 on the tender in 2025. He will be an exclusive rights free agent once again in 2026 even if he accrues another season in 2025, giving the Packers exclusive control over his rights for at least two more seasons.
