GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers have begun the restructuring of contracts to get their salary cap down starting with nose tackle Kenny Clark.
The Packers will need to restructure a number of player contracts before March 16th when they need to comply with the league’s 2022 salary cap limit of $208.2 million. The Packers were about $50 million over the cap entering the off-season.
They also would like to restructure contracts in an effort to keep both Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams and try and keep as many veterans on the roster as they can to make another playoff run.
