The Packers are continuing to do everything they can to make Aaron Rodgers want to stay in Green Bay.
On Thursday, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reported that the Packers are bringing in a familiar face to fill their vacant quarterbacks coach spot: Tom Clements. The 68-year-old veteran coach accepted a verbal offer to join the team.
Rodgers is said to be a big fan of Clements, and Demovsky reports that's part of the reason that the Packers are bringing him on board.
While there's the obvious connection to Rodgers, a source said Clements' arrival doesn't guarantee that the reigning NFL MVP will return to the Packers, but rather is another move that the Packers hope will convince Rodgers to come back.
