The Green Bay Packers announced that they’ve have released veteran DT Letroy Guion on Tuesday.
Guion has had numerous off-the-field issues since joining the Packers for the 2015 season, so it shouldn’t come as a big surprise that they’re moving on from him.
Green Bay has some younger defensive linemen that should be able to replace Guion moving forward.
Guion, 30, is a former fifth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2008. After six years in Minnesota, he signed a three-year, $11.25 million contract and was set to make a base salary of $1.
