In the post-practice presser on Friday, Green Bay Packers head coach broke the news that wide receiver Marquez Valdes Scantling, who sustained a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter against the San Francisco 49ers, was officially ruled out of the team’s Week 4 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The tough news kept rolling as LaFleur stated that cornerback Kevin King (concussion) and temporary left tackle Elgton Jenkins (ankle) were to be listed as doubtful going into the weekend.
LaFleur spoke on Jenkins’ status, stating he was hopeful that he would be ready for Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals, which doesn’t give much optimism for those rooting for Jenkins to suit up against the Steelers.
