What seemed to be inevitable finally happened.
The Green Bay Packers announced today they have released defensive tackle Letroy Guion.
Guion's departure marks the end of a tumultuous three year career in Green Bay which saw the defensive tackle arrested and suspended twice. He was arrested in 2015 for drug possession and was suspended the first three games of that season as a result.
More recently, Guion was suspended for the first four games of the 2017 season in March for violating the NFL's performance enhancing drug policy. He was arrested again in June for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
