The Green Bay Packers have drastically reshaped their cornerback room over the past few months, and a few reported moves among Saturday’s final cuts showed their commitment to reshaping the position. The Packers reportedly have released a pair of corners with significant experience with the team, cutting Josh Hawkins and Demetri Goodson.
Hawkins, an undrafted rookie in 2016, spent the last two years on the Packers’ active roster, suiting up for 26 games with three starts. He made 37 total tackles and broke up six passes in 2017, adding a forced fumble.
