Packers Reach Long-Term Deal With OLB Nick Perry

Jason La Canfora is hearing that the Packers have reached a long-term deal with free agent OLB Nick Perry. The agreement is expected to be announced last today.

Perry was reportedly drawing interest from the Colts, Falcons and Jets.

Perry, 26, is a former first-round pick of the Packers back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract before testing the open market for the first time this year and eventually returning to the Packers on a one-year, $4 million contract.

It’s worth mentioning that the Packers elected to not pick up Perry’s fifth-year option last May, which is why he’ll be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
