The Green Bay Packers made a roster move ahead of Tuesday’s practice. The team signed fullback Henry Pearson, who was waived earlier in training camp, and waived running back Jarveon Howard.
Howard, a rookie, was dealing with an ankle injury and was waived with an injury designation.
The Packers are without tight end Tyler Davis, who has a new shoulder injury. It’s possible the injury necessitated bringing back Pearson, who can play the fullback/tight end/H-back role.
Pearson went undrafted out of Appalachian State in 2023. He signed with the Packers and spent the entire 2023 season on the team’s practice squad.
