Ty Montgomery was off to an impressive start Thursday night, rushing for 28 yards on five carries in the first quarter.
That night came to a painful end with what we’ve now learned are broken ribs.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport first reported the news shortly after play resumed following a 46-minute delay due to lightning near Lambeau Field.
#Packers RB Ty Montgomery suffered broken ribs, sources say, and won’t return. He did it early and played through it for several plays.
