A 55-yard run that...well, a run that shouldn’t have been a 55-yarder...has put Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones over the 1,000 rushing yard mark for the 2020 season. Jones has now hit that mark each of the past two years, a great milestone to reach for a player who is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent this coming spring.
The 55-yard run that pushed Jones over the 1,000-yard mark came up the left sideline following Jones bouncing to the outside after being bottled up on the interior. However, Jones appeared to step out of bounds about halfway down the field, but the referees did not see his toe touch the sideline and he picked up another significant chunk of yardage, putting the Packers inside the Tennessee Titans’ 10-yard line.
