Rashan Gary will see an increased role in the Packers defense.
With Kyler Fackrell gone, the Green Bay Packers need Rashan Gary to step up in his second season.
Gary, the 12th overall pick in last year’s draft, played in all 16 games but didn’t start any in 2019. He finished the season with two sacks and three quarterback hits, playing on just under a quarter of the Packers’ defensive snaps, according to Pro Football Reference.
Talking to the media on Friday, defensive coordinator Mike Pettine said he expects Gary to step up in year two.
