Green Bay Packers fans in most of the United States can rest easy this week when planning out their Sunday. The vast majority of the country will see the Packers play their week 5 game against the Los Angeles Rams on a local television affiliate, with the game getting top billing as the late game of a doubleheader on CBS.
This marks the second straight week that the Packers will play against an NFC opponent with the game on CBS, a situation that would have been unthinkable a few years ago. But FOX and CBS have been more fluid with regular season game assignments in recent years, leading to more frequent CBS broadcasts of NFC games.
