Packers Question of the day - Was Knile Davis Booted too soon?

After just 13 offensive snaps and a grand total of five carries, the curtains closed on the Packers' newest running back acquisition, Knile Davis.

However, with James Starks set to make his return soon, Ty Montgomery capable of providing a sufficient tailback talent in the backfield, Don Jackson running hard against the Falcons and even an option in fullback Aaron Ripkowski, it's beginning to make sense. Davis wasn't necessarily needed.

Was it too soon to release the former Chiefs running back after a small sample size, or is it properly justified?
