With multiple roster spots opening up after wide receiver Jared Abbrederis and safety Chris Banjo landed on injured reserve Monday, the Green Bay Packers appear to have decided how to fill one of them. According to Bill Huber of Packer Report, the team plans to promote wideout Geronimo Allison to the 53-man roster.
Allison entered the league as an undrafted free agent on the fringes of the Packers' offseason roster. However, after posting impressive numbers during the preseason and regularly making highlight plays during training camp, the University of Illinois product made a strong case for inclusion on the final roster.
