Packers pressed to say stunning goodbye to two-time All-Pro

Related Topics: Green Bay Packers, Keisean Nixon

The Green Bay Packers will have a whole lot of key decisions to make this offseason in order to load up for a potential Super Bowl run next season. The Packers already have a nice chunk of cap space to swing some moves in free agency, but they could open up more money.

One of the ways they can obviously do that is by making roster cuts, and Eric Fischer of Lombardi Ave has identified a surprising player Green Bay could release this offseason: cornerback Keisean Nixon.

A two-time First-Team All-Pro, Nixon is more known for his special teams prowess than his actual defense, but he is coming off of a 2024 campaign in which he registered 88 tackles, three sacks, an interception, three forced fumbles and seven passes defended, so he definitely played a pivotal role in the Packers' 11-6 season.
