Packers President Mark Murphy pushes case for NFL draft to be held in Green Bay in 2024

GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers continue their pursuit to host the NFL draft in 2024.

Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy said in July that the Packers were among the teams vying for the 2024 draft.

"We’ve expressed our interest. We’ve been notified we are one of three cities being considered for 2024," said Aaron Popkey, Packers director of public affairs. "At this point, we’ll be presenting more information."

Las Vegas was scheduled to host the draft in 2020, but it ended up being a virtual event because of the coronavirus pandemic. Cleveland is scheduled to host the draft this year, Las Vegas was moved to 2022 and Kansas City is the choice for 2023.
