Over the weekend, the Green Bay Packers quietly made a roster transaction, promoting defensive lineman Tyler Lancaster to the active roster from the practice squad. Lancaster took the place of running back Darius Jackson, whom the Packers released, and his promotion opened up a spot on the practice squad.
The Packers elected to fill that empty spot on Tuesday, but they also made a swap at another position on the squad. The first new name is wide receiver Keon Hatcher, who played his college football at the University of Arkansas.
