On Monday, the Green Bay Packers practiced again at Ray Nitschke Field as the team begins to prepare for preseason games to begin. With Thursday approaching quickly, the team had three practices (including today’s) with two of them open to the public as they get ready for real competition.
Today’s practice illustrated one notable facet of the team’s game plan for this week.
Brett Hundley practiced with the starters throughout Monday’s practice, while Aaron Rodgers ran the scout team instead. This is a plain sign that the Packers do not plan to have Rodgers on the field at all in Thursday’s preseason opener against the Philadelphia Eagles.
