Packers players using cryotherapy to aid in recovery process

Green Bay — Beyond the glass door, front foyer and dividing wall, on the other side of two changing rooms that house white bathrobes and four colors of slippers, sits a futuristic chamber from which clouds of nitrogen billow.

The origin of the fog resembles a space-age soda can or a metallic MRI machine gone vertical, and the front door opens to reveal a small platform that, operated by a technician, levitates so that only the patient's head and neck are visible above the brim of the chamber.

Inside, temperatures plummet to levels that might be considered maniacal.
