Green Bay Packers cornerback Eric Stokes was placed on injured reserve Saturday with an ailing hamstring.
In addition to Stokes, the Packers also will be without fellow cornerback Jaire Alexander for Sunday night's game versus the Minnesota Vikings due to a one-game suspension. Alexander's ban stems from his coin-toss blunder last week that nearly cost Green Bay a possession, a move that the Packers labeled as "conduct detrimental to the team."
Stokes, 24, sustained a hamstring injury after recording four snaps on special teams in Green Bay's 19-17 loss to the Denver Broncos on Oct.
