Packers place Brett Goode on season-ending IR with torn ACL

The Green Bay Packers' injury woes show no signs of abating. According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette's Wes Hodkiewicz, long-snapper Brett Goode tore his ACL during last Sunday's tilt with the Oakland Raiders and has landed on season-ending injured reserve as a result. The team has signed Rick Lovato as Goode's replacement

Goode's agent Kevin Gold says that the long snapper suffered the injury during the first quarter, though still managed to finish the game. Counting playoffs, Goode has played in 137 consecutive games for the Packers.

Lovato, a 6-foot-2, 249-pound long-snapper, entered the league this offseason as an undrafted free agent out of Old Dominion.
