This season the Green Bay Packers' pass rush hasn't been nearly as dominant as it was a season ago. In 2019, led by The Smiths and Kenny Clark, Green Bay was top-5 in pressure rate; however, that hasn't been the case this season.
According to Pro Football Reference, prior to the Packers' Week 13 matchup with Philadelphia, their pressure rate of 18.7 percent ranked 28th and is less than one percent away from being in last place. So what's been the issue?
Well, as always, there isn't just one, but the biggest contributor is that the players simply aren't playing at the same level or winning their one-on-one matchups nearly as often.
