The bad news just keeps coming for the Green Bay Packers on the injury front. Earlier today reports revealed that rookie linebacker Kamal Martin underwent knee surgery that will keep him out several weeks. Now it appears that one of the likely starters on the Packers’ offensive line will be in question for the season opener as well.
That player is Billy Turner, who seemed likely to be the team’s choice to start at right tackle to start the season. Turner missed practice on Wednesday and following that practice ESPN’s Rob Demovsky reported that he suffered a knee injury in the team’s scrimmage on Sunday.
