To coincide with this weekend's reports, the Green Bay Packers will indeed need to find a new defensive coordinator.
ESPN's Rob Demovsky reported Monday morning that Dom Capers had been relieved of his duties as early as immediately following Sunday's loss in Detroit. Other reports believe he was fired after the Packers returned home to Green Bay.
Capers had been with the team since 2009 and helped field a top-five defense in 2010 that was one of the driving forces -- if not the biggest of all -- that helped the Packers win a Super Bowl that season.
