The Green Bay Packers officially announced the signing of guard Aaron Banks on Tuesday. Banks and the Packers agreed to terms on a four-year deal during the first day of the legal tampering period on Monday. With the contract signed, the roster move is official.

Banks, a second-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers in the 2021 draft, is expected to be the team's new starting left guard. His deal with the Packers is worth $77 million and includes $29 million guaranteed.

Banks, who played in 53 games for the 49ers, was not immediately given a new uniform number.
