The Green Bay Packers’ starting offense only took the field for three plays on Saturday when the team opened up its preseason schedule against the Cleveland Browns. Thankfully, that was for the best possible reason: the group delivered a big-play touchdown, getting in and out and on with their lives with very little opportunity for any injuries or issues to take hold.
That brief debut for the starters is one of the key storylines from the year’s first exhibition game, and it may well be the only time fans get to see Jordan Love and company before the regular season opener in Brazil on September 6th.
