Piling tire fire on top of train wreck on top of dumpster explosion, Packers’ starting outside linebacker, and mostly invisible edge rusher Nick Perry injured his ankle, and is questionable to return.
The injury, which serves as a microcosm of the total effort on the day, is next in a long line of adding injury to insult. Perry’s injury wouldn’t be terribly significant for a team with competent backup at the position, but in this instance it grants more playing time to sub-replacement outside linebacker Kyler Fackrell, who, by the way, leads the Packers in sacks on the season.
