Maurice Drayton is the new special teams coordinator for the Green Bay Packers and the man has a tough challenge ahead of him. The Packers have ranked at or near the bottom of the NFL in special teams in recent years and it has cost them several games.
In his introductory press conference earlier this week, Drayton was quick to show he was going to hold his specialists accountable for their performances. He specifically called out punter J.K. Scott and long snapper Hunter Bradley.
“They both know that they have to be more consistent in the things that we need them to do to be successful,” Drayton told reporters.
