The Green Bay Packers still have many needs to be addressed, but one need that could be lessened is the one at pass rusher, where internal development of guys like Kyler Fackrell could be key.
Obviously, the Packers were able to retain Nick Perry, which gives them two solid starters in Perry and Clay Matthews. But we all know that two solid pass rushers isn’t enough to get through the season, especially if Matthews ends up playing snaps at outside linebacker.
That means the onus for depth on the edge is going to come from the development of guys like Fackrell and Jayrone Elliott or through rookies acquired through the NFL draft or rookie free agency.
