Training camp is only just over a month away, and NFL Spin Zone has released its latest power rankings ahead of the new season.
After a good offseason, Randy Gurzi of NFL Spin Zone is expecting a bounce-back season from the Green Bay Packers, as he has them at No. 11 in the NFL power rankings. Interestingly, Gurzi has the Packers ranked first among all NFC North teams, two positions higher than the defending-champion Chicago Bears.
I think it’s a good call.
Many power rankings will have Green Bay much lower based on the past two seasons, but after the team’s offseason work, it’s hard not to view the Packers as serious playoff contenders, and possibly even the number one team in the division.
