Former Green Bay Packers third-round pick Montravius Adams has found a new team.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Adams is signing a one-year deal with the New England Patriots worth up to $2.5 million. The Patriots will be banking on upside as Adams was an early-round pick, while the Packers were ready to move on.
A phrase we’ve heard a lot this offseason is “worth up to”. Many deals are proving to be low-risk for teams who are adding incentives to contracts.
