The Green Bay Packers made moves on trade day!
Clearly, that's a misleading statement to make that way, but it doesn't make it untrue. No trades were made by the Packers but the lack of dealing and the few moves that the team did make show how confident they are in the current roster.
To make any trade, a team has to give something up but to improve a 7-1 team, the likelihood was that general manager Brian Gutekunst was going to have to deal some healthy draft capital and a player or two. The value simply wasn't there and Gute held firm, keeping next year's draft whole, for the time being.
