Packers makes QB move after return of Aaron Rodgers

The Green Bay Packers have activated quarterback Kurt Benkert and have released quarterback Blake Bortles. Benkert has been activated from the practice squad/COVID-19 reserve list, the team announced on Monday.

Bortles had a short stay on the team as he was only with the squad for about two weeks after Aaron Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19.

The Packers are tied for the best record in all of the NFL sitting at 8-2 on the season. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been sensational this season throwing for over 2,100 yards, including 17 touchdowns, and only four interceptions.
