Aug. 26—KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Backup quarterback Jordan Love performed to mixed reviews as the Green Bay Packers lost 17-10 at Kansas City on Thursday, Aug. 25 in their last preseason game of 2022.
Love finished 16-of-26 passing and threw for 148 yards in two and a half quarters of play. His last pass of the first half was intercepted by the Chiefs' Bryan Cook.
The Packers' best drive of the game came at the end of the first quarter and beginning of the second, as they strung together 11 plays. Love hit Romeo Doubs, Tyler Goodson and Juwann Winfree with short passes and Goodson capped off the drive with a 24-yard touchdown run.
