Packers lose 31-29 to Vikings after furious comeback attempt falls short

At least the Green Bay Packers made Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings interesting.

After about 25 minutes of game time, it appeared that the Packers could be on route to one of their worst home defeats in history. Minnesota jumped out to a 28-0 lead with five minutes left in the second quarter, thanks in part to a pair of early interceptions by Jordan Love. Green Bay failed to put a point on the board during that time due to kicker Brayden Narveson’s continued struggles, as the rookie missed kicks from 37 and 49 yards early in the game as well.
