Here’s an interesting development. The Green Bay Packers will work out former Pro Bowl tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. on Sunday.
Winslow played nine seasons in the NFL with four teams — Cleveland, Tampa Bay, New England and the Jets. He hasn’t played since 2013, when he caught 31 passes for 388 yards and two touchdowns with the Jets. The 33-year-old announced he was attempting a comeback earlier this year.
The Packers will be the first team to even give Winslow a tryout since that announcement.
This is interesting… FA TE Kellen Winslow II is working out for the #Packers tomorrow, sources say.
