Green Bay Packers linebacker Isaiah McDuffie was born 14 years after the 1985 smash hit “The Breakfast Club” was filmed.
The theme song from that classic picture — “Don’t You Forget About Me” by Simple Minds — could very well be McDuffie’s mantra in 2024.
McDuffie had a solid 2023 season, finishing second on the team with 86 tackles and adding five tackles for loss.
McDuffie’s reward? Watching the Packers draft two linebackers in the first three rounds to compete for his job.
“I mean, that’s out of my control,” McDuffie said during Green Bay’s mini-camp Tuesday.
