MINNEAPOLIS – Earlier in the week, Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley was asked if there was more they could do to highlight rookie linebacker Edgerrin Cooper.
Hafley seemed offended by the question.
“He was NFC player of the week a week ago and led the team in tackles this last week,” Hafley said. “I think we are highlighting him. I’m not sure there’s much more we can do with him. He’s continuing to develop, but I think we’re doing a pretty good job right now.”
If the Packers had beaten the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, he might have won the award for the third time this season.
