Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari leaves Buccaneers game with chest injury

As if a 31-point swing in the wrong direction wasn’t bad enough, the Green Bay Packers saw one of their most important players leave the game in the third quarter against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Left tackle David Bakhtiari was injured on the team’s first offensive series of the third quarter. It appeared that Bakhtiari tripped over H-back John Lovett during a run play to the left side, and the eight-year veteran stayed on the ground for a few minutes before getting up. Bakhtiari was able to walk off the field on his own power, but was visibly uncomfortable and grimacing as he did so.
