The Green Bay Packers’ All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander has played all of 10 snaps over the last five weeks, as he’s been dealing with a PCL injury to his knee. Luckily for the Packers, he’s been able to suit up in back-to-back practices over the last two days — giving hope that he’ll play against the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football.
Green Bay broke tendencies without Alexander in Week 9 by playing their base defense to the Lions’ three-receiver sets. The result? Detroit quarterback Jared Goff completed 81.8 percent of his passes in a Lions win.
