Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said earlier in the week that the Packers “dodged a bullet” with receiver Christian Watson’s injury, but he also mentioned that the pass-catcher would likely be out “at least a week.” On Friday, Green Bay officially listed Watson, who was a non-participant in practice throughout the week due to an ankle injury, as doubtful for this weekend’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.
That’s relatively good news on the injury front, considering that Watson’s injury looked like a potential season-ender on Sunday. Along with the question mark around Watson’s status, the Packers also have another situation to monitor: Romeo Doubs.
